2026 Sister Diocese Special Collection
October 17–18, 2026
St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church will join parishes throughout the Diocese of Orlando in supporting our brothers and sisters in our Sister Diocese of San Juan de la Maguana in the Dominican Republic through the 2026 Sister Diocese Special Collection.
This annual collection supports the missionary work of the Diocese of Orlando and helps address important needs within our Sister Diocese. Through our prayers and generosity, we have an opportunity to live our call as one Church and to accompany communities in need with faith, hope, and Christian charity.
During the weekend of October 17–18, we are pleased to welcome Angel Rengifo, who will visit St. Rose of Lima and share more about this important mission and the impact of our support.
We invite all parishioners to prayerfully consider supporting the Sister Diocese Special Collection. Every gift, large or small, helps continue the Church's mission of serving our brothers and sisters in San Juan de la Maguana.
Please keep the people of our Sister Diocese, their clergy, religious, missionaries, and families in your prayers.
“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. ”
